One of my favorite Christmas songs is "O Holy Night", especially this line:
"A thrill of hope, the weary world rejoices"...
Thrill: A sudden feeling of excitement and pleasure
Hope: To trust in, wait for, look for, or desire something or someone
Weary: feeling or showing tiredness
This world is weary. It is tired. It is broken. It needs something to look forward to. It needs hope. And that Hope has a name.
We have the greatest hope around, and we need to share it with the weary world! The world desperately needs it.
